The TV tower at the Rekord stadium in Bielsko-Biała, completed in 2021, is a modern facility that combines functionality with the aesthetics of modern architecture. A structure with an area of 18.5 m2 was built next to the stadium, placed on a foundation slab, and its total height is 5.95 m. The tower was designed specifically for media needs, offering ideal conditions for television crews during sports broadcasts.

The tower’s structure is made of steel, which guarantees its stability and durability. The roof is made of the SERGE FERRARI FLEXLIGHT ADVANCED 1002 – WHITE FLUORINATED membrane, which is known for its resistance to weather conditions and excellent mechanical properties. This is a material that perfectly protects the interior against precipitation and UV radiation, while ensuring lightness and aesthetic appearance.

Additionally, the tower’s facades were covered with FRONTSIDE VIEW 381 – BLACK CHERRY 3120 meshes from SERGE FERRARI, which not only add elegance to the structure, but also function as an effective light filter, reducing the interior sunlight, which is important for the comfort of work of camera operators and broadcast equipment.

The TV tower was designed to provide optimal conditions for reporting sports events. Its location next to the stadium allows for perfect shots of the entire facility, which is crucial during important sports meetings. The height and location of the tower provide a wide range of visibility, which translates into the quality of the produced video materials.

The design took into account not only technical and aesthetic aspects, but also the impact on the stadium surroundings. The tower, despite its modernity, was designed in a way that harmonizes with the architecture of the stadium without disturbing the aesthetics of the place. The safety of use of the facility was ensured by the use of proven materials and technologies, which is especially important in public places with a high number of users.

The TV tower project at the Rekord stadium in Bielsko-Biała is an example of how modern technologies and materials can be used to improve sports infrastructure, which translates into the quality of events covered and the overall experience of viewers and participants.

FAQ
