As part of the investment titled “Construction of Engine Production Plant in Jawor,” which took place in the years 2019-2020, the company Abastran Sp. z o.o. undertook the task of executing the facade of the staircase. This facade constitutes a key architectural element of the new industrial facility, designed with modernity and functionality in mind.

 

The facade was realized using PVC mesh SERGE FERRARI FRONTSIDE VIEW 381 – BLACK SLATE 3113, valued for its aesthetic properties and durability. The mesh was installed on a specially designed aluminum structure, ensuring the durability and stability of the entire facade. This material not only enhances the external appearance of the building but also serves practical functions, such as protection against weather conditions and ensuring adequate air circulation.

 

The installation of the facade was carried out using modern technologies, allowing for precise fitting of the elements to the building structure. Each stage of the work was closely monitored to ensure the highest quality and compliance with the executive designs.

The “Phyllium” project is an innovative membrane roofing implemented in 2019 over the playground located at 66 Gen. Jerzy Bem Street in Toruń. The goal of this investment was to create a space that allows children to play safely outdoors throughout the year, regardless of the weather conditions.

 

For this project, the material Mehler FR 1400 MEHATOP F – Type IV was selected, known for its high resistance to UV radiation, weather influences, and mechanical damage. It is a PVC-coated polyester fabric, which due to its durability and ease of maintenance, is ideal for use in public areas.

 

The scope of work included not only planning and delivery of materials but also construction works and the installation of the roof itself. Specialized teams took care of all phases of the project, from initial calculations and planning, through manufacturing, to the final installation of the structure at the playground. All work was carried out with the utmost care to ensure maximum safety and functionality of the roof.

 

The “Phyllium” canopy not only protects against rain or excessive sun but is also an attractive architectural element. Its modern form and aesthetic appearance enrich the urban space and make the playground an inviting and friendly place for children and parents.

The implementation involved comprehensive actions, starting from the development of executive and workshop projects. These detailed plans allowed for precise adaptation of the roofing to specific requirements and the architectural context of the park, taking into account both technical and aesthetic aspects. As a result, the roofing harmoniously integrates into the cultural space of the amphitheater.

 

Additionally, specialized studies were conducted to determine the stretching and flexibility properties of the material used. These studies enabled the design of roofing that effectively deals with loads and tensions, ensuring the durability and stability of the structure. Designs for additional stainless steel elements, such as drainage gutters and arch braces, were also developed, serving practical functions while visually enhancing the entire structure.

 

The necessary static calculations of the roofing ensured that the membrane roofing would be fully safe and meet all technical requirements. The final stage of the project involved the delivery and installation of the membrane roofing along with all fastening elements, such as aluminum strips and membrane connectors. The entire work was carried out with attention to every detail, guaranteeing not only durability but also aesthetic execution of the roofing.

On the other side of the concrete wall, which is an integral part of the roofing, climbing grips were installed, further enhancing the place’s functionality and creating new opportunities for physical activity for residents. This versatility makes St. Barbara’s Square a center of local community activity, combining recreational, sports, and cultural functions.

 

The implementation of this project is part of a broader plan to revitalize the Rozbark district, aiming to improve the quality of life for residents and revitalize this part of the city through infrastructure supporting cultural and social development.
