Miners’ Square in Jaworzno – Bicycle Parking Canopy
A modern multifunctional canopy at Miners' Square in Jaworzno, covering an area of 680 m². Its distinctive, streamlined form fits seamlessly into the urban space. In winter, it serves as an ice rink; in summer, as a bicycle parking area with social facilities.

In 2015, we designed and completed a modern canopy at Miners’ Square in Jaworzno—now known as the “Ray” (Płaszczka).
The canopy is located in the very heart of the city, between Jaworzno Planty Park, the sports and entertainment hall, and the shopping mall. The dynamic, streamlined shape of the structure reflects the urban character of the location and creates a striking feature in the public space.
Under the canopy, covered by a 680 m² membrane, there is an ice rink in winter and a bicycle parking area with social facilities in summer. Multifunctionality, aesthetics, and durability are the key strengths of this project.
