In 2019, a membrane roofing project over the terrace of specialist clinics was implemented in the courtyard of the Clinical and Didactic Center in Łódź. The 420 m² roof was designed to create a comfortable and aesthetic space for patients and medical staff.
The roof has the shape of a double conical form, supported on internal supports, which gives it a modern and light look. The structure is located in the corner between the two walls of the building, which effectively uses the available space. From the façade side, the roof is anchored in points to the wall, and from the outside it is attached to two inclined columns, ensuring the stability and safety of the structure.
One of the key features of the roof is its illumination from below, which not only highlights its architectural values after dark, but also creates a cozy atmosphere, conducive to relaxation for patients and staff.
