Football air dome in Kraków

For Creedsport Sp. z o.o. we designed, supplied and installed a football air dome on Łutnia Street in the Podgórze district of Kraków. The dome covers four existing pitches and allows them to be used all year round.

The envelope measures 104 × 66 m in plan and covers approx. 6,864 m². We built it as a double-layer system — an outer and an inner PVC membrane — which improves thermal insulation and lowers heating costs. The envelope is mechanically anchored to the existing reinforced concrete foundations.

The scope of work covered shop drawings and the supply and installation of the anchors, membrane envelope and air supply system. The dome is equipped with:

• two heating units rated at 400 kW each,
• 300 lx LED lighting with controls,
• emergency ventilation and an emergency power generator,
• a revolving door, illuminated emergency exits and a delivery entrance.
