Description
In 2014, the execution design for the membrane roof over the Amphitheater in Świnoujście was carried out, including the design and installation of a modern membrane with tensioning elements. The goal of the investment was to create an aesthetic and functional roof that protects the audience from weather conditions and enables events to be held throughout the year.
A PVC membrane was used, characterised by high durability and resistance to external factors. The roof was designed in the shape of an umbrella, and the membrane was stretched over steel lattice girders. The tensioning system at the ends, using gusset plates, provides stability and an aesthetic appearance of the structure, while the cables used limit membrane displacement caused by wind suction.
