Air dome over a football pitch in Koluszki

In 2025 we designed, supplied and installed an air dome over a full-size football pitch at the sports and recreation complex on Zagajnikowa Street in Koluszki. The investor was the Municipality of Koluszki and the general contractor was Sorted Sp. z o.o.

The dome measures 115.7 × 75.1 m in plan and 20 m in height, covering approx. 8,700 m². The envelope is made of high-strength PVC membrane (690 g/m²) with fire reaction class Bs2-d0.

The shape of the dome is held by an internal overpressure of 200 Pa, generated by centrifugal fans with automatic pressure control. The scope of work also included:

• a heating system with two heaters rated at 580 kW each,
• emergency power supply with a generator set,
• automation with remote monitoring,
• sports, emergency and escape lighting,
• anchoring of the envelope to reinforced concrete foundations and ground anchors,
• a revolving door, four emergency exits and a technical entrance.
