Stage Membrane Roof in Kwidzyn

The membrane roof project for the stage in Kwidzyn, completed in 2020, is an important element of the city’s cultural infrastructure. It was designed by the plan3D Adrian Bogutczak studio, with Abastran Sp. z o.o. as the contractor. The 65 m² roof has a modern rhomboid form in plan.

A durable PVC membrane, resistant to UV radiation and weather conditions, was used for the cover. The membrane was fixed to the existing structure using steel cables and turnbuckles, which ensures installation stability and allows the structure to work under variable weather conditions.

The roof was designed for year-round use, allowing events to be organised regardless of the season. The maximum mounting height of the membrane is 8.40 m, providing adequate space under the cover and comfortable conditions for performers and audience alike.
