Stadium Grandstand Roof in Bielsko-Biała

The grandstand roofing project at the stadium on Startowa Street in Bielsko-Biała, completed in 2020, is an important element of the city’s sports infrastructure modernization. The 213.5 m² roof was designed to protect spectators from weather conditions, enabling sporting and cultural events to be held year-round.

The structure rests on steel columns made of rectangular profiles that provide stability and strength. The main load-bearing system consists of arched girders together with perpendicular beams that support them. The whole has been further reinforced with transverse bracing that stiffens the structure and increases its safety.
