Clinical and Teaching Center – terrace for specialist clinics

In 2018, a membrane roof over the terrace of the specialist clinics was built in the courtyard of the Clinical and Teaching Center in Gliwice. The 168 m² structure was designed to create a comfortable and aesthetic space for patients and medical staff.

The roof takes the form of a double cone supported on internal columns, giving it a light and modern character. It was placed in the corner between two walls of the building, making efficient use of the available space. On the facade side, the structure was anchored at specific points in the wall, while on the outside it rests on two inclined columns that ensure stability.

An additional advantage of the project is the underside lighting of the roof, which highlights its form after dusk and creates a welcoming atmosphere in the usable space.
