Amphitheater in the Castle and Park Complex in Biała Podlaska

In 2019, an ambitious amphitheater roofing project was delivered in Biała Podlaska as part of the Castle and Park Complex. The aim of the project was to create a modern, functional space that enables a variety of cultural and artistic outdoor events to be organised regardless of the weather.

The amphitheater roof was designed as a cable-supported steel structure in which tie rods play a key role. The steel structure is made of closed circular profiles fabricated from S355J2 steel, which ensures high load-bearing capacity. The cladding materials are Precontraint 1002 S2 Highly Translucent for the main membrane and Valmex FR 650-2 for the “light bridge”; both offer high translucency and weather resistance. The project also included the installation of cables, bar tendons and guy rods, which together form a complex yet visually attractive structure.
