Details of the walkway roofing project between shopping centers in Gliwice:
In 2018, a new Factory Gliwice Center was built in Gliwice next to the Auchan shopping center. To allow customers to move comfortably between the two shopping centers regardless of weather conditions, a covered connection point covered with a membrane was designed and built.
The roof of the connector with an area of 168 m² consists of seven steel frames, between which a single-layer membrane is stretched. What makes this structure unique is the use of different membrane mounting heights, which give the entire structure a complex and aesthetically pleasing spatial shape. Additional struts in the longitudinal direction and a rectangular framework at the intersection ensure additional stability and safety of the structure. Do you need a roofing connecting buildings?
