In 2015, Abastran Sp. z o. o. carried out the construction and executive design of the amphitheater at the Cultural Center in Łomianki. The task was to design and build a stage with a membrane roof that ensures the functionality and aesthetics of the entire facility.
The roof, with an area of approximately 106 m², was made of easyASM 112 PVC membrane, which is a material highly resistant to weather conditions and mechanical damage. The roof structure is based on two poles with closed round profiles, which gives the whole thing a slim and modern look. The membrane was stretched to tension elements on steel columns and to point and linear support nodes, which ensures stability and durability of the structure. The maximum height of the structure, measured from the ground level, is approximately 7.10 m.
The easyASM 112 PVC membrane was used to build the roof, known for its high strength properties and resistance to external factors.
The main function of the roof is to protect the stage and spectators against unfavorable weather conditions, which enables the organization of cultural events in all conditions.
The roof is characterized by a light but stable structure based on two steel poles and a tense membrane that serves as a load-bearing structure.
The roof area is approximately 106 m² and the maximum height of the structure is 7.10 m.
The PVC membrane requires minimal maintenance, mainly consisting of periodic cleaning to maintain its aesthetic appearance and functionality.
The challenges were to adapt the structure to the specific aesthetic and functional requirements of the Cultural Center and to ensure the durability of the structure with minimal intervention in the existing surroundings.
