ETFE film, or tetrafluoroethylene ethylene, is an innovative plastic that stands out for its transparency, lightness and flexibility. ETFE is also resistant to UV radiation, extreme temperatures and aggressive chemical environments, making it an ideal material for outdoor and indoor applications.
Use
ETFE film is mainly used in facilities that require large, transparent covers, such as botanical gardens, zoo pavilions, as well as in modern recreational water facilities. Thanks to its ability to transmit UV rays, the film is ideal for places where natural light is important. In addition, ETFEs can be used in pneumatic and membrane structures, creating airbags that are used as skylights or innovative building facades.
