In 2015, as part of the civic budget, a membrane roofing project was implemented for the band shell located in the park. Tadeusz Kościuszko in Radom. The aim of the project was to create an aesthetic and functional roof that would provide protection against weather conditions during various cultural events taking place in the park.
The roof with an area of 140 m² is made of Mehler Valmex FR 900 Mehatop F, PVC, which is known for its high resistance to weather conditions and durability. The structure was designed and constructed by Abastran Sp. z o. o. and RosaHale Sp. z o. o., and the main contractor was Rosa-Bud S.A. This project combines modern technologies with a design that fits harmoniously into the park surroundings.
The Mehler Valmex FR 900 Mehatop F PVC membrane was used for the structure, which is resistant to weather conditions and ensures the durability of the roof.
The main purpose of the roof is to protect the stage space of the concert hall and the audience from rain, sun and other weather conditions, enabling the organization of events all year round.
The roof is characterized by a light but stable membrane structure that aesthetically blends in with the park surroundings. It is an environmentally friendly structure and easy to assemble and disassemble.
The roof has an area of approximately 140 m², which provides adequate coverage for the stage and part of the audience.
The PVC membrane requires minimal maintenance, which mainly involves periodic cleaning to maintain its aesthetic appearance and functionality.
The main challenges were adapting the structure to the historical character of the park and implementing the project within a limited civic budget, which required effective resource management.
