Conceptual Design for the Manggha Museum in Kraków
We developed a conceptual design for a winter garden made of ETFE pneumatic cushions and a PVC membrane canopy for the restaurant at the Manggha Museum of Japanese Art and Technology.

The project included a canopy over the restaurant terrace at the Manggha Museum, designed as a tensioned PVC membrane on a steel structure. The roof form, inspired by a wave, referenced the Japanese aesthetic of the building and its riverside surroundings.
A winter garden was also envisioned, using ETFE foil pneumatic cushion technology, offering lightness, high light transmission, and year-round functionality. Both elements were designed to ensure maximum integration with greenery and the existing architecture.
